Your booking page uses the same calendar your office and crew already work from.

Times allow 30 minutes' travel between visits, and two people can't take the last window.

Outside your area, or nothing free that suits them? Customers can send a request instead, and it arrives as an inquiry.
Nobody waits too long
The customer and the office are both emailed. A booking still waiting 2 working hours later reminds the office.

Questions
Are bookings confirmed straight away?
Only for services you set to book straight in. Otherwise the time is held as Requested until you confirm it, suggest another time or decline.
Who does the visit?
Bookings arrive unassigned, so you choose who goes. Times are only offered when someone who works in the field is free.
Does the customer need an account?
No. They give their name and contact details. If they're already your customer, the booking goes on their record.
Can I close it for a while?
Yes. Close online booking at any time, and visitors see that it isn't open just now.
