Text Messaging Terms
Last updated: October 29, 2026
These terms cover text messages (SMS) that businesses send to their customers through MightyCrews, which is operated by Cloudline Software Ltd. (formerly ReviewTec Software Ltd.), an Alberta corporation. MightyCrews is a registered trade name of Cloudline Software Ltd.
Who sends the texts
- Each business sends texts to its own customers from its own number, using MightyCrews.
- Texts start with the business's name.
- Cloudline Software Ltd. provides the service; the business is the sender and is responsible for the texts it sends.
What texts you may get
Texts about your work with the business:
- confirmations of a booking or a request;
- reminders the day before a visit;
- "on my way" messages;
- links to your quotes and invoices;
- a request for a review after a job;
- replies from the business to messages you send.
How often
It varies with your work with the business: usually a few texts per visit or job.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan. MightyCrews and the business don't charge you for texts.
Stopping texts
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that business. You'll get one text confirming you've opted out.
- Reply START to receive texts again.
- You can also tell the business directly.
Help
Reply HELP for help, or contact the business directly. For questions about MightyCrews itself, email support@mightycrews.com.
Consent
- Businesses may only text customers about their own work, or as the customer has agreed, and must follow the law: Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation, and in the US the TCPA and carrier rules.
- Agreeing to texts isn't a condition of buying anything.
- Texts are for your customers about their work: no marketing to lists, no links to other sites, no personal chat. We may hold or stop texting that looks like spam.
Your information
How your mobile number and messages are handled: see our Privacy Policy. Mobile numbers and opt-in information are never sold or shared with third parties for their marketing. Phone carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
